Lesson 23【第一课时】【教学目标】知识与技能目标 1能听懂、会说询问旅行、旅行所用时间的日常交际用语,并能在乘飞机、乘车等实际情景中运用。2能听说读写yes,get to, hour, send, email,理解、认读minute、by ship/ train、on foot,并能进行描述。3能正确地朗读课文。过程与方法目标 1通过航班时刻表、航船时刻表和火车时刻表帮助学生理解功能句型的含义。2利用字母或者字母组合的拼读规则帮助学生认读学习新单词;利用图片、肢体语言等学习理解短语how long, get to, send email, go away。3通过学习理解,跟读录音,自己读,pair work 等形式使学生能理解课文内容并能初步正确朗读课文,表演对话。情感态度价值观目标渗透热爱旅游,亲近大自然的意识,乐于用英语和他人就旅游话题进行交谈【教学重点】1能用How long does it take you to get to by It takesmore than hours 句型询问他人旅行需用多长时间,并能做出正确应答。2能理解对话内容并能进行朗读,表演。【教学难点】遇到较长句子按意群朗读并理解句意。【教学准备】 单词卡片、多媒体课件、转盘、调查表【教学过程】Warming upActivity 1 where are you going on Childrens Day活动目标复习地点场所和交通方式的词汇,激活学生已有的知识经验,并把他们引入为六一儿童节计划的情境中,为本课学习做好铺垫。实施方法与师生语言预设复习本课要用的词汇1出示图片,复习地点类单词2出示交通工具, 边说边做动作3Where are you going on June 1st Im going to by 设计意图通过TPR复习已学过的关于地点和交通方式类地词汇,为后面的学习做铺垫。Presentation and practice.Activity 1 Guoguos plan活动目标通过看主题图,引入课文对话的学习,对课文有整体的感知与把握。实施方法与师生语言预设出示主题图,问What are Guoguo and Lingling talking about Do you want to know1学生自己看课文,回答老师的问题 Is Guoguo going away for the holiday Where is Guoguo going Why Who will go with her How long does it take them to get to Canada It takes them more than ______ hours. How will Guoguo tell Lingling about everything (出示图片供选择) Amake phone calls Bwrite letters Csend emails2填写表格 Guoguos plan Where How Why How long 出示航班时刻表,帮助学生理解more than的含义。3听录音,跟读课文 设计意图 本课对话生词很少,大部分学生都会,所以我先让学生认读文字,老师提出的问题,帮助学生理解对话内容,并能提炼出来填写表格,加深学生对课文内容的理解。Activity 2 Chant and Competition活动目标处理本课重点及难点,比较长的句子能按意群正确理解和朗读。实施方法与师生语言预设1提出难点,板书How long does it take you to get to Canada 指导学生按意群朗读,再chant打节奏,操练句子。How long does it take you to get to CanadaHow long does it take you to get to JapanHow long does it take you to get to GermanyHow long does it take you to get to America2It takes us more than ten hours to get there by air. 先按意群朗读,再让学生在规定的时间内比赛谁重复的次数多。设计意图本课功能交际用语句子比较长,虽然没有生词,但是学生不会按意群朗读,所以说起来有些困难,通过活动,使学生掌握意群停顿,比较顺利地读出句子,并为后面的交际做好铺垫。Activity 3 朗读课文活动目标通过各种方式的练习,学生能正确朗读课文对话。实施方法与师生语言预设1出示图片,处理短语send email2跟读课文男女生朗读同桌朗读Role Play设计意图通过多种方式练习对话,达到熟练的程度,为后面的交际做准备。Activity 4 转盘游戏活动目标通过观看航班时刻表,进行功能的操练,并通过转盘的游戏进行巩固。实施方法与师生语言预设1根据所给图片进行替换提供航班时刻表,就乘飞机的方式进行交际对话“How long does it take you to get to It takes us more than hours to get there by air.”设计意图通过看时刻表对去某处所用时间进行交际对话,进行机械性操练,学生能体会此功能句的用途,并通过游戏,使学生能较灵活地进行替换练习。ProductionActivity 1 Going by train活动目标通过观看火车时刻表,学生做pair work进行句型操练,加深对功能句的理解与掌握。实施方法与师生语言预设看表格问答How long does it take you to get to It takes us more than hours to get there by train.设计意图通过变换交通方式,学生能正确替换,并且比较熟练地进行问答交际,加深对句子的理解。Activity 2 填写调查表 Going on foot活动目标通过填写调查表,帮助学生真正理解本课所学交际用语。实施方法与师生语言预设PlaceHow longSchoolXinglong ParkBus StationSubway Station设计意图学生根据实际情况填写自己到所熟悉的地方所需的大概时间,帮助学生更好地理解和运用所学知识进行口语交际,达到掌握交际用语的目的。Activity 3 复述课文活动目标帮助学生整体把握对话,考察学生对课文是否真正理解实施方法与师生语言预设Can you finish the Guoguo is going away for ___________. She is going to _______ with ________. Because ________ is working there. It takes ____ more than _______ to get there by ___. Lingling will miss _______. And Guoguo will ___________ to tell Lingling about everything. 设计意图帮助学生整体把握课文,加深对课文的理解Activity 4 创编对话活动目标根据课文内容创编对话Summer holiday is coming. Whats your planA Are you going away for B Yes.
